42 Flute Studies of Medium Standard

There are a great many study compilation books around and this, together with it's companion volumes 63 Easy Meloci Studies and 45 Progressive Studies, is a really good one! Using composers from Frederick the Great to Camus, the music is firmly rooted in the classic nineteenth century flute tradition so all the composers knew exactly what they were writing. The book is progessive so it's possible to work through them logically which is always a good approach. If you play everything here you will be a much better player at the end of the book than you were before you started!
