In his 1st flute quartet, Swiss composer Franco Cesarini (born in 1961) is mainly trying to combine musical and didactic contents. In the progress of its musical development, the harmonic dissonances create a suggestive effect which produces a special mood. Its level of difficulty is medium, and it is especially suited for music schools.
