“This is great!”

The range of repertoire and possibilities for performance make this book a winner and there is an added bonus of simple alto flute parts for three numbers. All the pieces are quite short and range from adaptations of songs, dances and folk music. The writing is designed to be appealing to everyone both on the page and on the ear, and any one of these little gems would make ideal encore material.
From the Publisher
Ten Pocket-Sized Trios is a collection of vignettes arranged for flute, guitar, and cello by Jan Boland (with guitar adaptations by John Dowdall). For two of the titles, there is an alto flute transposition of the C flute part. Additionally, for the entire collection, the cello part can be considered optional.
