Enjoyable piece to play; not as typically French in style as some others, and not easy to date - it could almost be a nineteenth century piece. Outer sections feature a flowing theme over running semiquavers, while the middle part is more operatic and slightly more modern in style. Plenty to explore musically. Recommended.
