Product Reviews: Chaconne in D minor, BWV1004

This transcription of the great Chaconne from from the partita for solo violin BWV 1004 is the best version that I have yet found. Other versions have been transposed, but this works very well in the original key, and has been sympathetically adapted for the flute.
This is 14 minutes (12 pages) of total virtuosity, not for virtuosity’s sake, but for the amazing sublime music that the notes create.
It is beautifully and clearly printed on quality pure white paper and is very easy to read, although I have found a few missing accidentals.
The page turns are impossible in every arrangement, so we just need several stands or an assistant.
If you fancy a challenge, and it is huge, this is ideal. Perfect to have in your bag for when students don’t turn up.... your colleagues and other students can’t fail to be impressed.
Please do not expect very many rests!
