Product Reviews: Hercules DS562BB Alto Flute Stand

This is a sturdy and well made stand on which, I feel, my flutes are secure. It is quick and easy to assemble. The diameter of the central stand for the Alto Flute is too large to accomadate the concert (C) flute, so the additional peg is needed if you need a stand for both. You don't need the Alto Flute on the stand to use the C Flute peg, it doesn't topple over.The stand comes with a travelling bag which also accomadates the additional instrument pegs.

I wanted a stand that would hold a flute, an alto flute and piccolo for playing in a theatre orchestra pit with lots of instrument changes.
This alto flute stand is very stable with no rattle. The spike is padded at the base and at the tip, so the instrument is protected at all points of contact.
The two bolt holes allowed me to attach a flute peg and a piccolo peg.

Very useful product, particularly with the additional peg attachments. Sturdy structure. Ideal for pit band work.

I am delighted with this product. To be able to safely stand both flutes, and next time a piccolo too, was very reassuring on a very crowded stage. The stand is so easy to establish and is very strong and portable in its yellow bag!

Used the Hercules Alto Flute Stand on small club stages with big band and felt safe. A very good, practical and affordable product.

Great stand. I occasionally need an alto flute for orchestra so its great to still be able to use it just for my flute and piccolo and then have the flexibility of have the alto flute stand too. Always used hercules never disapointed with their products.
