“Great for my Muramatsu ”
I got the Large size (as advised for Muramatsu flutes) and they fit my flute perfectly. They are easy to insert and to take off and are quite cheap for being a temporary measure!
“hole plugs”
They work superbly - very handy for experimentation. Need a suitable probe to remove them, but you can always find something...
“Very good Plugs”
These are very good, fit my Muramatsu flute really well and are easy to put in place. Hopefully only a temporary measure but they look as if they will last a long time.
“Did the job”
I ordered large silicon plugs for a Muramatsu St flute I was trialling. They were a tight fit but just about squeezed into the open holes.
“Poor fit for Miyazawa”
These are too loose for my Miyazawa Gi-bu and work down and out of the holes. Production description is misleading. Only bought because miyazawa plugs were out of stock.
“Perfect fit for my Miyazawa”
Got these to help me evaluate a flute without having to worry about my finger position, it's not easy to keep everything perfectly in position at all times if you're not used to open keys. These allowed me to hear the flute minus my poor technique and are a cheaper price than the official Miyazawa plugs. Due to my short fingers and potter's thumbs at least some of them will stay in place permanently, so invaluable for me.
“Small Plugs for open hole flute”
These are really small and soft. They are advertised as suitable for Miyazawa flutes but they were too small for mine and simply pushed straight through the holes.
I expect they fit other flutes with small holes. Measurements in mm might assist in choosing the correct size. The larger plugs (which I ordered at the same time) did suit perfectly.
