After trying out against Muramatsu, Miyazawa, Altus and Powell flutes in the Intermediate range, the Haynes Q2 with 14k riser was the clear winner for me. It is just so responsive. I love the pisoni pads and the crisp articulation. It has a gorgeous warm, rich tone and the key work is light yet robust. I couldn't be happier with this gorgeous flute.
