Product Reviews: Powell 9k Aurumite Flute Headjoint

I purchased this headjoint with the desire to increase the projection and tonal qualities of my Pearl Coda "Elegante". The fusion of silver and gold seemed an ideal combination. While the 10k Lip plate on the pearl was good, this head joint took the flute to another level. Instantly, i observed a big increase in the flutes projection, the notes of the top register came with ease, and the lowest notes gained in richness. I had hoped that this Soloist's cut head joint would be powerful and yet flexible enough to create a wide palette and i was not disappointed. This 9k Aurumite head joint is a joy to play, and it looks good to!
