Product Reviews: RAT "Jazz" Music Stand

I bought this stand having been looking at my fellow clarinet player's new one with envy. I wasn't disappointed with mine. They are expensive, but strong, sturdy and easy to put up and down. I also like the way there is even a space for my pencil! There is no comparison to the flimsy fold up metal ones we all know so well which regularly trap and pinch fingers during efforts to unfold them. The Rat stand is a dream to put up quickly, and is easily adjustable to the right height. The back board is large and easily accommodates larger sheets of music. Being solid it's easy to write on the music with pencil during rehearsals.

I wouldn't be without mine now, and have recommended them to friends.

So it's expensive, and it's a music stand, which is boring... BUT, it's so worth it for anybody who travels and needs a stand sturdy enough to support the Real Book/folder of music or an iPad. Blows the regular black stands and the terrible fold up ones clean out of the water and it's really light.

Can not recommend this highly enough!
