Great idea.

The Headjoint wings were a waste of money. Very little for your money, didn't work, and came unstuck easily. No way could you adjust as recommended because the adhesion is minimal.

Very scant instructions were given.


Do not waste your money. If you want to try this idea, make your own!

Great find…they really help to maintain a nice steady gorgeous tone!!

I bought these with a little skepticism for an old headjoint but I must say they seem to actually do something. Higher register definitely ‘pops’ out more easily and overall tone seemed more focused. But it’s difficult to just take them off and on to compare better. I haven’t yet put a pair on my new headjoint though. Definitely recommend trying these out.
