Product Reviews: Capriccio for Flute and Piano

This is a tricky little piece made up of two sections that share some musical material. The first Allegro section uses rapid passages in constantly shifting time signatures to create a zephyr-like atmosphere. This is contrasted by the slow much more expressive section (with hints of Britten?) that challenges the breathing and control.
