Product Reviews: Two Pieces for Flute and Piano

I was drawn to this piece after seeing Ulla Miilmann playing it on YouTube.
A modern piece in two parts for flute and piano that has a hauntingly beautiful and graceful unaccompanied introduction. With a duration a little under ten minutes it had me hooked the moment I heard it. I’ve yet to work through the piece but will have many a happy hour trying to do it justice.
The print quality is unfortunately sub-standard, has needlessly been halftone screened and is possibly a deliberate attempt by the publisher to prevent copying (if I’m paying top dollar for sheet music I expect first class reproduction). That said, it’s a lovely piece worthy if your attention and a welcome addition to the flute repertoire.
