Product Reviews: Altieri Flute Helix Wand

This is a fantastic little mop for the flute. fits well inside the tubes and does a wonderful job of cleaning the parts. This is simpler than grabbing a cleaning rod and gauze. It eliminates the need for two or three products. Easily fits inside your case, can be washed with detergent and air dried.
What's not to love about these mops?
Well worth the money!

It’s excellent and really gets into the headjoint to make sure it’s dry. I’m well pleased. It’s expensive yes but it’s a worthwhile purchase. My only niggle is why does wand part need to be so long as it won’t fit properly in my flute case. If you have a Beaumont flute case beautiful as they are you would have no chance in fitting this cleaning aid in as there’s only room for a pencil at best.

I have this and the Valentino flute flag, to be honest, for the price I don’t know if this is worth it. I would be quite happy sticking with the flag. But I bought a new flute and wanted to treat myself to this at the same time.
