Product Reviews: JP021 Bb Clarinet

I bought this clarinet because I had hit a bump in the road on a second hand Ebay find which lead to me giving up. When I saw how cheap this one was I was dubious, however after having a flute repaired here and having had a few folk flutes from here I felt the risk of it being unplayable was slim and so I went ahead. I picked it up and flew through the pages in my tutor book and love it! It has a lovely rich tone in the lower register and a lovely middle register. It came set up and ready to play with a reed, though if for a beginner I would get a better reed in 1.5 rather than 2.5. Lovely tone colour, feels lovely and the adjustable thumb rest with rubber cover means the clarinet is comfortable to play. The case keeps it very secure and the cleaning swab ensures your clarinet doesn't get mouldy. I can't get over how easy this was to play, the notes pop out so effortlessly! I highly recommend this clarinet.
