The book provides a compelling insight into the enquiring mind of a respected musician, artist and inventor.
It is a fascinating account of an important period of evolution in flute technique and style, and a candid assessment of contemporary flute players, teachers and composers.
Finally, it's a very enjoyable read - well written and sprinkled with humour.
