Product Reviews: Vandoren "Black Diamond" Clarinet Mouthpiece

I did plenty of research into mouthpieces, and settled on this one as it seemed to be suitable for my level (diploma standard).
I found it very easy to adapt to after many years on a Yamaha standard mouthpiece. The clarity and tone is excellent and I believe it will also help with my tonguing technique. I find the top register above the stave needed a slightly better embouchure and diaphragm control, but this was for the better.
It does seem to prefer a harder reed, so I will go from using a 2.5 to a 3, which will help with my volume and projection whilst not losing the tone.
