Product Reviews: Principal Leather Flute Messenger Bag

I originally purchased to replace a hard ABS case and perhaps benefit from a less heavy but more elegant solution. Although the Principal Leather Messenger Bag is beautifully made it has a couple of shortcomings.
Firstly, being an all leather flap-over design the weight of the empty bag is not inconsiderable. Secondly, when it is loaded with music and other music paraphernalia the unreinforced area for the flute collapses thereby making it quite difficult to extract and replace the flute in its case due to the weight of music above it. The bag therefore will quickly become quite tiresome and burdensome to use.
A beautifully made product but if you are planning to fill to capacity then its design is questionable.
