I was very unsure what to expect from the quick study, until I found Mark Tanner's book of examples. It has been extremely useful to practise, timing five minutes of preparation, then performing each piece. When the exam arrived I felt prepared for that part of it. The quick study was very similar to those in this book. I would say this is a vital purchase for anyone taking the dipABRSM flute exam.
