Product Reviews: 20 Easy Melodic Progressive Exercises Op93 Vol.1

I’ve just received this copy of Kohler 20 melodic exercises for flute. I personally would grade this from 4 to 6. It’s very good in that each lesson starts with warm ups tonality scale and thirds ending with a study all in the same key. Of course it gets progressively harder towards the end of the book. What the description didn’t tell you is they’re 10 duets. Fine if you’ve got someone else to play the other part but that being said it’s no detrimental by any means and of course they’re tuneful to boot. My only niggle is the instructions are in German with no translation. It was fairly straightforward to do translation via my phone but that being said still makes it a useful workbook.
