Product Reviews: Learning to Play the Flute

I have had this book out for several months from my local library and I thought I really ought to have my own copy. It's clear, with a no nonsense approach for people who want to learn to play the flute and it assumes no previous experience.

The book starts with an illustrated history of the flute and then leads the student with many exercises along the way, including numerous duets.

I started learning over 55 years ago and needed to renew my skills after a 10-year break. (it was weird, rehearsing shostakovich's festive overture in a concert band while going back to the beginning in the tutor!)

The buying process was quite simple, and delivery was very swift.

The book is in excellent condition, with clear print on 'a4 size' white paper. (the library copy I used was quite old and the paper had yellowed a bit - not surprising though!)
