From the Publisher

Gershwin's quirky little piece was originally written as incidental music for the film "Shall We Dance" starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers; it accompanied a sequence featuring a variety of glamorous dogs being walked on a luxury liner. The outer sections feature a cheeky piccolo or G Treble flute solo with the accompanying flutes striding out jauntily underneath. In the middle section a more lyrical melody is passed around the choir. If you are looking for a tune to whistle whilst walking your pooches, this is the very thing!
