Gentle Prince» is a paraphrase on the themes from my musical based on the fairy tale Swineherd by H.K. Andersen. All themes are written in 5/4 rhythm. One of the themes – the quote of the famous Austrian folk song Ah, my dear Augustin – also sounds at a rhythm of 5/4. Gentle Prince is dedicated to one of the World’s best flutists – Aleksandr Haskin, who brilliantly performs all my compositions for flute.
