I am extremely experienced with all sorts of students , young and old from different backgrounds and have experience of teaching in schools both in the state and private sectors as well as at my home.

I started out teaching Recorder in the late 1970s and was soon asked if I could also teach Piano, which I could, and coincidentally this happened around the same time at a school, and at a house where I was teaching 5 youngsters recorder and eventually also piano. So it has come to pass that I now have more Piano students than Recorder and also i took up Clarinet in my early 50s and took my Grade 8 in that with distinction at the age of 60 so I can teach clarinet too. I have several recorder students at a Saturday music school, and also a couple of clarinet students with whom I am working on the Harry Potter theme , and also a trio with the two of them and myself. Another alumnus who is learning flute now who also learned Recorder and Clarinet there, will join this little ensemble.
