Petronella von Wielligh

I am a highly experienced professional flautist and teacher. I teach at independent schools and privately. I have an orchestral background and do performing work, but focus mostly on teaching. I teach flute from beginners to diploma level and I am very experienced with the ABRSM exam board, but also Trinity Guildhall. I am a very accomplished accompanist so often work with flute and piano during the lessons to encourage the feeling of harmony and ensemble playing to pupils. I adapt my teaching to each individual and I don't expect my pupils to enter for music exams even though many of my pupils like doing them. I am a very intuitive teacher. I teach piano from beginners to grade 5 and also theory up to grade 5.
