I teach modern, baroque and keyed classical flutes, and music theory (up to Grade 5 ABRSM).
My teaching experience includes 20+ years of private tuition, and work for schools projects, universities and music colleges. I’m currently flute and music theory teacher at Graveney School in Tooting.
I prepare students for graded exams, university, A-Level and GCSE exams, scholarship auditions, concerts and competitions. I also teach several students, especially adult learners, who just want to learn for their own enjoyment.
I studied modern flute at UEA, and baroque and classical flutes at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with distinction.
I'm Artistic Director of The Vauxhall Band, Co-Principal Flute of The Hanover Band and have performed and recorded with other ensembles such as the Academy of Ancient Music, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the London Handel Orchestra.What I teach:
