Julie

Julie has taught and coached woodwind for over 20 years and is very experienced. She also coaches master-classes across the country including for NYWO and advanced wind quintets chamber music regularly at Benslow Music Trust. She is happy teaching beginners to advanced diploma and university/college students. She has taught pupils who range from the age of 7 to 85!

Julie gained her doctorate in 2024 and also holds a distinction Masters degree, a first in her BMus (Hons) degree alongside a postgraduate diploma in performance from Trinity College of Music, London.

She is a national and international award-winning freelance professional instrumentalist and she works as a session musician; in orchestras; in education projects; as a soloist and in a number of chamber music contexts including with her award-winning ensemble London Myriad.
