Camilla Marchant

Hello! I am Camilla, a freelance flute player and teacher. I enjoy a varied freelance career and love performing with many of the UK’s leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, English National Opera, to name but a few. With the LSO I have toured with Sir Simon Rattle and recorded the soundtrack for the Oscar-winning film The Shape of Water.

I am the flute teacher at Cavendish Preparatory School, and I have been a guest teacher at The Royal College of Music and Trinity Laban Junior Department. I have also taught at Kings College London, and I teach private pupils of a range of ages and abilities around London. As part of the Regent Fellowship, I have coached classes for all woodwind students at the Royal Academy of Music. I also work for the educational flute website Principal Chairs.

My main aim for all of the pupils that I teach is to make sure that they have fun whilst challenging themselves! Please get in touch to find out more.
