Hi! I am Billy, a professional flautist offering lessons in flute, piccolo, baroque flute and music theory, both online and in person in Manchester.

I am an active performer on modern and historical flutes, having performed as principal flute with the Ulster Orchestra and the Northern Ballet Sinfonia, as well as second flute/piccolo with the Hallé, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Réjouissance, and the Zürcher Symphoniker.

I am available to help students with graded exams, but also am equally happy to teach outside of the exam system! Recently I worked with the ABRSM to record materials for their new diploma syllabus, so I am happy to assist with recorded exams as well.

Lessons can be online or in person in Manchester, delivered in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin. All ages and levels are most welcome, please get in touch for more information!
