My name is Anne & I am delighted to introduce myself as a teacher available for lessons online or in person. I have over 20 years’ experience teaching pupils age 4-84. I am enthusiastic & committed to inspiring students of all levels of ability & experience. My pupils include beginners and those for whom flute, recorder or piano is a second study instrument to those who play the flute/piccolo at a professional level. Many of my pupils have won awards & received scholarships. I feel strongly that all pupils, no matter what age or whatever subject path they intend to follow, have much to gain from learning a musical instrument.

I am a graduate of Cambridge University and The Royal Northern College of Music (with Distinction) which means I am in the privileged position of using my experiences academic & performance based to enrich the learning process I go through with each pupil. I treat each student as an individual with different strengths & needs and have 100% pass rate for exams.
