Anna Kondrashina

I feel very passionate about passing my knowledge of music to younger generations.

For the past four years I have been teaching the flute and the recorder as well as coaching flute ensembles and woodwind orchestra groups at the Rachmaninoff Music Academy. I gained a significant experience in leading and co-leading group workshops at schools around the UK, including SEND schools at the Learning and Engagement Department of the Philharmonia Orchestra and as a Young Artist of the Worshipful Company of Musicians.

During my lessons I spend significant time teaching the students in detail how to practise at home, so they have a necessary knowledge to become independent in their routine home practice. I find it is very important to demonstrate the right sound and posture and I play with my students, either in unison or duet. I am committed to be entertaining and encouraging, yet demanding teacher.
