Angelika Stangl

Professional musician teaching and working in London and Buckinghamshire. Played with orchestras and groups such as Hanover Band, Ex Cathedra, Manchester Camerata,I Fagiolini, Deep Purple and recorded in Abbey Road with Rick Wakeman, including going on a UK tour with 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'. I have a First Class Honours degree and have trained at leading establishments including the Royal Academy of Music. I am also happy to help people who would like extra support in GCSE and A Level music. I have a friendly approach to teaching, always being encouraging and supportive whether it be preparing for an exam of just for fun. I like to inspire younger pupils to really enjoy music and find their voice within their instrument. For adult learners, I enjoy teaching in a more relaxed way and will cater to individual needs, preparing parts for orchestral rehearsals or just working through repertoire that interests them.
