Alessandra Amorino

Hello I am Alessandra! I am an enthusiastic flute teacher and professional flautist (MMus in flute and BMus in Chamber music), freelance performer living in Newcastle upon Tyne specializing in contemporary music.

I am a flexible, passionate and friendly teacher. I love teaching flute and music, shaping my lecturing style on the individual needs and interests of the student(s) from Y3 to adults.

I am Flute Performance teacher at Durham University, Flute tutor at NHSG, flute and orchestra tutor at The Glasshouse IMC (YMP), and flute and Music teacher the Emmanuel College in Gateshead. I have entered pupils for and prepare students for the ABRSM examination from grade 1 to Diploma, Trinity examinations, flute Diploma and University Flute Performance exams and GCSEs and A-levels performance. I play in several ensembles, I have served in many Italian and European orchestras as Principal, Second and piccolo flute. In UK I have been collaborating with RNS in Newcastle.
